Healthy Legs Can Boost Your Stamina

As any woman can attest, having your legs give out before you do can put a serious cramp in your day. A recent study found that more than 58 percent of the women surveyed, between the ages of 18 and 49, said that the one thing they would like to change about their legs was better stamina and energy. Surprisingly, this ranked higher than sexier looking legs (26 percent) and younger looking legs (Healthy Legs with Support hose14 percent).

Why are women so concerned with leg energy and stamina? One reason is that more than 50 percent of women surveyed experience leg fatigue. This issue is compounded for women who are constantly on the go juggling kids, work, family and self interests.

Leg vitality starts with healthy legs. When the system of muscles, veins, and valves in your leg and foot becomes weak it disrupts normal blood circulation. This means blood flow in your legs gives in to gravity and pools in veins and valves and will cause varicose or spider veins which is not only unattractive but also will make your legs feel heavy, tired and achy.

Simply improving your diet and avoiding certain lifestyle habits such as constricted clothing or hot baths and wearing graduated compression hosiery regularly does wonders to help legs stay healthy, vital and supple.

When circulation in your legs is kept healthy, you will not only look beautiful on the outside, you will glow on the inside as well. Remember, take good care of your legs and it will take great care of you.
